Australian Skilled Work Visas
Australia is seeking to attract people with specified business, technical, trade or professional skills. These visas are points tested. To meet the basic requirements for a skilled independent visa you will need to
- be under 45 years of age at the time you apply
- nominate an occupation from the Skilled Occupations List (SOL)
- have your skills assessed as being suitable for working in your nominated occupation
- have been employed in an occupation on the SOL for at least 12 of the last 24 months OR have met
- the 2 year study requirement in the last 6 months
- have ?competent? English or ?vocational? English if you nominated a trade occupation
- meet the pass mark for the points test
State/Territory Government Sponsored Visas
State/Territory Government Sponsored visas do not require the points test, but you must have an approved nomination from an Australian State/Territory government.

- Australian Qualifications
- Occupation in Demand/job offer
- Regional Australia Study
- Partner Skills
- State/Territory Nomination
- Eligible Relative Sponsorship
- Designated Language.
